Organic Chicken Are Free Range Chicken
Free Range chicken are commonly organically grown chicken. Free range chicken had the access of the outdoors activity, rather than spending their entire life in a cage in which they hardly move and scratch for their natural food. Though, it is said these chicken had an outdoor access of course it is not sky is the limit.
It has a regulatory meaning.
Organic means pasture access. They are feed by grains and vegetation and some insects as they go around. All these give nutrients to the chicken. Chickens who have been feed organically, raised without the use of chemicals and fertilizers taste far better . They are not injected with hormones and antibiotics. Their outdoor movements made them leaner and meatier and surely good for the human heart.
What benefit you can get from Organic Free Range Chicken?
Range chicken has been recently analyzed with fascinating result that organically grown chicken have much amount of omega 3 fatty acids in breast meat.

Holy Land Pilgrimage
As month goes by pilgrims applicant are coming in to join the April 2016 Pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
April 18 - 29 the exact dates of the pilgrimage. As of now there are already 20 pilgrims signing and much more some paid the full amount of 140k. The preparations become a blessing and at same time a spiritual journey. Day by day each pilgrim will pray to each other as for spiritual preparation. Pilgrims started to exercise as to prepare oneself physically.
It is awesome and amazing that this Holy Land is always a place of perpetual tension between Jew and Arab.
A place of manifestation of God's blessing to His people - in fertile farmlands contrast to a desert. This is the land , " flowing with milk and honey".
What made the land holy? According to biblical scholar and archaeologist Jerome Murphy-O’Connor, this occurred for the Jews when the Ark of the Covenant was carried into the Holy of Holies in the Temple at Jerusalem and “the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord” (1 Kings 8:10).

Raising Healthy Chicken
Eight months ago a friend
of mine hand to me two chickens of same variety. They are in orange
colors. Beautiful and now they turned into hens laying numbers of eggs
and hatched them naturally. One
of the first batch of chickens after four months landed in the kitchen
for food, And the other was sold for their own food. Now they turn
into self sustaining pets.
I
love raising chickens that would eventually my hobbies and at same time
become my entrepreneur the moment I will retire two years from now. I
will make it sure that these chickens grow healthy not only for my food
but also for others.
It is amazing to see chicken will eat different kinds of food. But, it is good to choose the healthy one, fruits and vegetables and corn. Recently I found one food that chicken loves to eat is copra mill. Healthy and delicious for chicken. There are varieties of chicken and you can choose your own.

THE FEARLESS, HUMBLE AND JOYFUL WITNESS TO THE GOSPEL IS COMING TO THE LOWLY FILIPINOS
Eights days more to go, we will be receiving a vibrant, joyful yet fearless visitor in the person of Pope Francis. God bless us Filipinos to have Pope Francis for few days to journey and pray with us. Praise God for this blessing.
Pope Francis moves me to ponder to how should I witness and live the gospel. He challenged me to be brave not according the ground of my ideology and philosophy but according to the teachings of my God. That amidst of scarcity, life has to be lived joyfully. This is what to be blessed,
Humility is virtue to practice for one to live a joyful life. When we speak good things about others we are experiencing authentic joy than talking ill against other people. In moments that I humiliated, a ray of hope would surface out. Hope also makes us joyful.

God Works Wonder in my Two Teeth
One of my great fears is to put my self sitting in the dental chair. It made my blood pressure high to the point that both the dentist and self collapsed. My teeth becomes an indicator of my retirement day.. for I will no longer work when my teeth will no longer be in placed and could no longer be replace by a false teeth.
At the second day of the retreat as I took my breakfast with the retreatants. I sense that something was cracking in my mouth and as go on chewing the food I recognized that I am already chewing my two teeth. What a wonderful moment for like me who could not sit in the dental chair because of my uncontrollable fear.
It is an answered prayers. As I keep on requesting and asking God to in place my teeth for it is vital part of me and to my ministry and mission. Days from now I will have a new but false teeth. Thanks be God for He works wonder in my two teeth.

Pope Fracis is Coming to the Philippines
" God willing" Pope Francis will visit our beloved Philippines in 2015. Pope Francis wishes to visit the Yolanda victim places in the Visayas. With regards of the exact date, this has to be released by the Vatican according to Cardinal Tagle.
Organizers of the visit conducted already an inspection of the possible places to be visited by the Pope Francis.
What is touching in this visit is that it will be simple and pastoral in its very nature. Cardinal Tagle said, that the Pope wants to encounter the suffered people by the typhoon Yolanda.
Bishop Villegas also called the people to prepare for the coming of the Holy Father. People are called to pray in personal and family prayer and be charitable.
Our compassionate shepherd comes to show his deep concern for our people
who have gone through devastating calamities, especially in the
Visayas. He comes to confirm us in our faith as we face the challenges
of witnessing to the Joy of the gospel in the midst of our trials." Bishop Villegas said.
Starting today let us pray for the success of the visit of our beloved Pope Francis.

Is it Possible to Have Two Names and Two Birthdays?
At the begging it sounds confusing, but later on it became amusing. This is my experience of having two name with two birthdays. I grew up knowing that my name is FLORDELUNA. When I was in college, as our school registrar required us to submit our birth certificate it was found out that my name is FLODELUNA. Since childhood up to first year college I celebrated my birthday every May 23. When I saw my birth certificate, my birth date is May 24. Which is which? Either of the two. Both are important to me.
Today, I embrace this two names. Flordeluna, the flower of the moon. Flodeluna, the simple flower on earth. I celebrated these two dates. A two day birthday celebration. Wow! Fantastic! I honor the Holy Spirit as my guide in this two days celebration. I offer Holy Mass and a novena to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives the joy in my life.
Tomorrow and the following day ( May 23 & 24 is another joyful days of celebration of the gift of life God has given unto me. Two days of celebrating the goodness and the love of God and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in my life. He is guide, and my protector. Thank you Holy Spirit!

Culture from Agriculture
Do you know where this word culture comes from? One boy responded, it came from the mountain! Really! Mountain? One anthropologist said, that the word culture derived from the word agriculture. Hey hey! Correct! You taker of a plants in a certain conditions to the other. A plant from the plot to the pot. You cultured it .It transformed from nature to human resource.
Culture involves people, in different places with different lifestyle, beliefs, ideas , values and practices.
Is there superior and inferior cultures? None! Cultures emerged from the experiences of people in particular place and time. There is no point also of comparison, but there is call to respect each others culture.
A Challenge to be with the Young
This is the logo of the 24th Catechetical Congress and Seminar Workshop organized by the Communication Foundation for Asia . And this year's congress focuses on the New Evangelization. What is new? The message remains the same : THE PROCLAMATION OF THE PERSON JESUS CHRIST. But the culture of the people 30 years ago may be different from our present generation. And to be with this young generation is quite challenging especially in bringing the message of salvation to them. There is call to understand their culture and at same discover a new way, and new methods of introducing Jesus that would be fitting to them.
I am so blessed together with our school chaplain Fr. Rolando Mandreza and Richard Escobido, we are all from the Holy Cross of Davao College attended this Seminar Workshop.

Meditation:
We reflect today on a promise of a day full of hope
of plenty, of peace. We ask for the grace to be open,
to respond to whatever the Lord is offering us in these precious days
of preparation and anticipation.

No matter how difficult
our situation, we can trust in the Lord;
we can eat and be satisfied.
we can eat and be satisfied.
I shall live in the
house of the Lord all the days of my life.
On
that day it will be said:
“Behold our God, to whom we looked to save us!
This is the LORD for whom we looked;
let us rejoice and be glad that he has saved us!”

Intercessions:
The Word of God humbled himself to dwell with us so
that we might see his glory. Rejoicing in hope, let us call
upon him:
Emmanuel, be with us.
Ruler, just and righteous,
- bring justice to the poor and the oppressed.
King of peace, you beat swords into plowshares and spears
into pruning hooks,
- turn hatred into love and our grievances into forgiveness.
You do not judge by appearances,
- recognize those who are your own.
When you come with power and might upon the clouds,
- grant that we may come before you without shame.

Closing Prayer:
Lord of all,
you are a God of plenty, a Lord who provides
for us in our need.
As I begin these early days of Advent
help me to believe that you know what I need.
Give me the courage to listen to your voice
and the freedom
to open my heart to the graces you are
offering me to place my trust in you.

vegetables and fruits
Years ago, I was
contemplating of my coming years where in I have to stop
working 8 hours a day. What would be my possible flow of life on my
retirement days? Lot of possible scenario came to my mind. What would
be my other sustenance aside from pension? I have to look for another
alternative. Farming, vermi culture, and making a boarding house are the
options. I started gradually, and in period of one year construction ,
a room with a comfort room was built. I am so happy and grateful to
God for this material blessing. My is exciting moments for me. Though I
may no longer receiving every 15th and 30th income but I believe the
Lord God will in place me as He will continue to provide. One is so
clear to me that I will still continue to my mission of sharing the
mission of Jesus Christ.
Working
in an institution or company may end but our work for the vineyard of
the Lord must continue through our service and involvement in our
Christian community. Our mission must go on!
Are there challenges in our retirement days? The following are possible challenges;
- Keep one's mind heart focus to God's eternal promise
- Keep one's body strong and healthy through exercise and eating vegetables and fruits
- Attend community and church activities
- Get in touch with good friends with similar aspirations and values
- Observe moments of prayer
- Trust God's always loving presence
